Beginning Teachers Sept 2024
Attending this event?
Monday September 9, 2024 1:00pm - 2:00pm PDT
This hands-on session is designed for beginning elementary teachers seeking to incorporate Indigenous perspectives into their teaching across various subject areas. Inspired by Elder Albert Marshall’s concept of Two-Eyed Seeing, we explore the enriching process of viewing education through both Indigenous and Western lenses. This approach not only respects but interweaves the strengths of both perspectives to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of the world
